Our Mission and Vision for Every Brilliant Mind

Our Mission

At Brilliant Minds Advocacy, our mission is to empower autistic individuals and their families by providing culturally affirming education, resources, and unwavering advocacy. We are dedicated to promoting neurodiversity awareness, breaking down barriers, and fostering inclusive, therapeutic spaces where every mind is celebrated, and every family has the tools to thrive.

Name Origin

The name Brilliant Minds Advocacy was inspired by watching my son play and interact with the world. It’s truly amazing to witness his unique and incredible way of thinking, and how his distinct perspective often challenges societal norms. The name is a reflection not only of his brilliance but also of the brilliance I see in others on the autism spectrum. I wanted the name to celebrate the intelligence, creativity, and fresh perspectives that autistic individuals bring, recognizing their gift for out-of-the-box approaches to life and challenges.

Vision Statement

Brilliant Minds Advocacy strives to be a leading voice in autism advocacy and support, reshaping how families, particularly those in underserved communities, experience diagnostic, service, and educational systems. We aim to achieve this by being a catalyst for a more inclusive society: championing equitable access to crucial information, services, and supports; fostering supportive communities where autistic individuals and their families feel seen, heard, and truly belong; and amplifying the brilliance of autistic individuals.
